Since moving to England in 1998 Samba has been involved in many different educational workshops and events which raise awareness of African culture and music. Samba is from Senegal in West Africa, from the Mandinka tribe. Drawing on his rich cultural heritage he provides children and adults alike with a unique glimpse of Africa through his eyes, with hands-on drumming, song and dance and fascinating story telling and discussion. Samba is available to work in schools and playgroups throughout Somerset and Devon. He can work with children or adults of any age or ability and has experience in working with students with mental health problems. Maximum group size 15.
